Welsh National Youth Opera, directed by Polly Graham.

Will is working as a projection designer with The Welsh National Youth Opera on a new version of Kommilitonen! by composer Peter Maxwell Davies with a libretto by David Pountney.

Opens at Memo Arts Centre in Barry in July 2016.


The Encounter


Will is working as a projection designer with Simon McBurney and Complicite on a new production, inspired by the novel Amazon Beaming by Petru Popescu.

Opens at The Barbican in Feburary and touring internationally through 2016.

Beware of Pity

A Schaubühne and Complicite co-production, directed by Simon McBurney

Will is working as a projection designer at Schaubühne, Berlin, on an adaptation of the Stefan Zweig novel Beware of Pity.

Opens at Schaubühne in December 2015 and running in repertory through 2016.


The Snow Maiden

Opera North, directed by John Fulljames.

Will is working as a projection designer on a new production of The Snow Maiden as part of the Opera North Fairytale season for 2017.

Opens January 2017 in Leeds and tours the UK.



BAC, directed by Tom Penn.

Will is working as a projection designer on a 360 degree immersive performance/installation for children. Devised by Tom Penn.

Opens September 2016 at BAC and touring the UK through 2016/17

Opera for the Unknown Woman

A bold new sound work for voices, created by Melanie Wilson with co-composer Katarina Glowicka and projection designer Will Duke. An epic science-fiction dream of Earth in the 21st and 22nd centuries, seen through the eyes of its women and a visitor from the far future, fusing contemporary classical and electronic music, choral singing, film and choreography.

Premiere in Cardiff in June 2016.

Will is working as a projection designer for a new opera at Opéra de Lyon based on the life of Walter Benjamin.

Opens at Opéra de Lyon in March 2016.


Queen Anne

The RSC, directed by Natalie Abrahami

Will is working as a projection designer with the RSC and Natalie Abrahami on the production of a new play by Helen Edmundson.

Opens at the The Swan Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon in November 2015.


The Edge

Transport Theatre with Douglas Rintoul

Will is working as a projection designer with Transport on the production of their new devised work for the New Wolsey and a UK Tour.

Opens at the The New Wolsey Theatre in Ipswich in October 2015.


The Narrow World (working title)

The British Council, Shakespeare Reworked R&D project.

Will and Melanie Wilson have been selected for a research and development project between the UK and Tunisia.

The Astro Science Challenge

Unlimited Theatre and Unlimited Space Agency

Will is working as a filmmaker with Unlimited to create content for their Astro Science Challenge project. The project will take place in UK schools and will coincide with Tim Peake’s mission to the International Space Station (ISS) in November 2015
